hostadrivephoneHost a Cell Phone Drive at Your Business or Organization

Secure the Call collects unwanted cell phones, wipes their memories clean of private information and gives them (free) to seniors and battered women in need and at risk. The phones will enable them to access 911 emergency services and are distributed through a national network of organizations serving these people.

We’re asking people to help collect phones by hosting a one month collection drive at their buildings and facilities. Display the barrels in lobbies, vestibules or employee cafeterias for a month or until they are full, whichever comes first.

hostadrivephotoSecure the Call distributes the phones at no cost to Senior Citizen Centers, Battered Women Shelters and Police and Sheriff’s Departments through a national network of 300 Community Partners for use by those in need. As with computer disposal there are concerns about data. All donated phones are purged of donor data before any reuse is permitted.

We’ll provide you with new secured, customized Secure the Call collection barrels, return labels for return shipping and downloads of flyers and posters to educate your employees about the program. First decide how many barrels you need to effectively allow your employees the opportunity to donate phones. To make the program possible we are asking for a donation of $60/barrel to cover our cost and shipping expenses.
