Help Secure the Call – a nationwide 501(c)(3) non-profit collect and redistribute 10,000 phones to those in need. We give away free phones to over 425 community-based organizations around the US including Senior Citizen Centers, Domestic Violence Shelters and Police and Sheriff’s Departments. By April 22nd (Earth Day) we’re hoping to reach our goal to bring in enough phones to supply our community partners all the free 911 emergency phones they need.
When you send us your unwanted phones and chargers we’ll put them to work helping seniors and domestic violence victims feel a little safer this year.
Two Choices to Send us Your Phones
1. YOU pay the postage.
Postage Required. For less than $10 – you can treat us to the shipping costs. Use this label and take the package to the US Post Office or to a UPS location and donate the cost of sending us your phones by paying for the shipping.
2. WE pay the postage.
If you can’t donate the shipping costs – we still need and want your phones. Use our pre-paid merchandise mailer. The Post Office will charge us when your package arrives. Because we run the program on fumes – we always ask first for you to treat us to the shipping.
